The font size for the Control Panel’s own fonts and some other instances cannot be changed with the methods given for other types of menus, etc.

Also, changing the screen resolution does no good for this problem. The touch screen does not work to increase the size with the pinch gesture for these screen contents. Also, the “BRIEFING” news software which came loaded on my computer when purchased does not respond to the touch screen sizing, so the text remains too small for comfortable reading.

Overall, Microsoft has done a horrible job regarding text size control on Windows There have been way too many things that have been left to the computer owners to have to deal with in order to get fixed! Is there any chance that Microsoft will be fixing these problem anytime soon? Would appreciate some suggestions. This thread is locked. Computfr the irony that Control Panel is the one File Explorer Window that ignores Icon Font Size just to make it harder for the visually impaired to even get to Accessibility settings, is not lost on me.

I’ve used the referred to Advanced sizing of text and other items numerous tto experimentally in the past to try to get what I need with the font sizes. I finally settled with 18 on everything as the best I can get for my computer’s 14″ screen, but none of this addresses my described problems. At the Advanced sizing of the text and other items page, even the font size of the instructions below the Change size of items is far too small, and never changes with any of the available ways provided by the Windows 10 system.

I have the same problem when I go to the computer’s files page; the information across the top of the page is in very tiny font size, whereas the file names information does respond to the Change size of items procedure, size 18 again being the best for my computer. I’ve been using computers starting with the old Window 95, and I’ve never before seen such a cobbled-up mess as this Windows 10!

I thought Windows 10 would cure all of the problems of 8. I wish Microsoft would re-design this part of the system so that the font size CAN be adjusted. These texts don’t even respond to the touch screen effort to increase the font size temporarily. The touch screen works beautifully in many instances, but I don’t understand why it can’t be made to work for ALL instances where the user wishes to see an enlargement. Even for different news pages, the touch screen works hoa some, but not for others.

What I would like to see is uniformity and nonee: in the way text sizing is handled. This is an extremely frustrating problem for those of us who are using laptops with small screens. Sometimes the font is so small that if how to increase size of text on computer screen windows 10 – none: utterly ridiculous – like about a 2 point!

As I type this reply, the font size is only about a 4 point! However, in this case, it does respond to the enlarge gesture of my touch screen – which is это pcr testen bergen op zoom – pcr testen bergen op zoom: верю good.

From my experience, Tahoma seems to work well. I think the problem is because the default system font size 9 is too small for MS Sans Serif. How else can I resolve this problem? I had the exact same problem.. I have exactly the same problem. Tried to roll back to the previous driver this all started with the latest update from Microsoft yesterday afternoon but the option is greyed out. Clearly a problem caused by the latest update.

How long is it going to take Microsoft to sort this out? Yes, unfortunately we have the same problem – it started with the screen going blank on me and returning with this enlarged version. I thought I had been thrown into the old ‘safe mode’ but checked and everything was as it should be. I then switched off and saw the option to switch off and update so as there is no other way allowed that in the hope that the screen would be back to normal when I switched back on – no such luck so at the moment I am stuck with an unworkable screen.

My drivers are all up to date according to the scan and there is no option to roll back. This needs to be addressed as owing to mobility issues I am only able to maintain a semblance of independence by using computers.
